We had the CNY shoot over the weekend and I was super excited! New clothes for the New Year! I’m actually not that particular about wearing new clothes for CNY (since I’m not 100% Chinese anyway) but it’s always nice to don new clothes and pretty up, right? (:

 

It was really hard for me to pick a dress this time! But finally, I decided to keep Tallara Elegant Dress. It is a pretty formal dress, because it’s a tad longer for me than I’m used to. Definitely suitable for work, dinners, and of course visiting!

Sorry for the tired face! Have been training really hard for my Muay Thai competition this Saturday, so am totally exhausted!

Am loving the A-line skirt on this dress! Very flattering on all body types. The dress also comes with a complimentary red skinny waist belt as shown. The contrast of red and navy is one of my favourites! I can never get enough of my two favourite colours (:

The neckline is also pretty unique. A wide neckline that flatters your collarbones. (I hardly have any. Sobs!)

I would definitely recommend this dress for anyone looking for a more classy, formal-looking dress! I might alter this a little shorter, since I’m so short! But this dress is definitely a keeper for me!

I almost kept this one! It’s reversible so you get 2 dresses for the price of 1! I am loving the forest green (:

For those looking for a dress for CNY, I highly recommend this one right here! It has subtle details which exude the CNY look, like the mandarin buttons at the shoulder. The material is really good too! I love the fit and flare cut of it. Flatters the waist. Hehe!
